Goodbye summer, hello autumn

As the summer sales come to an end and the new season draws in, it’s time to start planning out that fabulous Autumn/Winter wardrobe. Make every street a catwalk and turn heads in the season’s awe inspiring trends.
The next few weeks are that tricky transitional period from hot days into cooler climates. But don’t ditch those key summer items yet. With clever layering, those summer pieces can be brought through into the next season.

Take inspiration from Roberto Cavalli’s Autumn/Winter collection. Think comfy, cosy, effortless luxe.

The boho trend has been carried on through. Maxi dresses remain a key item for the following season, but fabrics have moved to softer flowing chiffons in 70s inspired paisley print fabrics. Add warmth and texture to your outfit with layering of fine knit cardigans in the new season’s natural colour pallet followed by gilets in faux fur and leather to take the look up a notch. Finally accessorise with gypsy inspired scarves detailed with beading and fringing. Pull the whole look together and give it some shape with a tan or brown belt tied at the waist, detailed with long tassels and feathers, adding a hint of global traveller into the mix. Pile on your favourite mix and match bangles, layer on long, gold pendant necklaces and a pair of tan wedges or boots for the wetter days. Now you’re ready to step into an Autumn/ Winter wonderland.
