Burst into autumn with colour

Even though it may only be August, the weather seems to think otherwise. And so we should be looking to the season ahead and start incorporating some autumn pieces into our wardrobe to take us through this transitional period.
This season sees a more relaxed and paired down glamour of simple cuts, silhouette and classic shades. Key colours appearing all over the catwalk and High Street are camel, black, navy, grey and khaki. Though if you are still in need of some colour to lift your mood from this some what gloomy weather then take heed. Bursts of purple and orange, as seen during the shows of Mulberry and Celine, are exactly what your wardrobe is crying out for at this time of year. These colours are set to be huge in the coming months and are used to inject some life and individuality into the simple shapes and colour pallets of a more classic look.

Don’t worry about wearing these colours head to toe, they also work as an accent to your outfit. Pair a bright orange handbag with a simple outfit as seen here at Celine and Mulberry Autumn/Winter 2010 collections.
